About this webinar:
How do you live a happy, fulfilling, and purposeful life with a disability?

Daughter and mom team, Keira and Deanna Spangler, will highlight the reality of living, thriving and mothering a teen with Autism Spectrum Disorder. They will dive into the brutal truth of their lives, both the desperate, major struggles as well as the sensational, heart-warming triumphs. Keira’s specialty is giving her personal account to your most socially awkward, unacceptable and forbidden questions about Autism or life with a disability. Come prepared to ask questions and to hear the truth about their lives.

About the Presenters:
-Keira Spangler is a 13 year-old teenager on the Autism Spectrum. Living with Autism and a host of other disabilities isn’t easy. However, Keira has found a talent and a passion for sharing her life. Now a seasoned public speaker, Keira’s inspirational speeches include appearances at local schools, Autism support groups, keynote presenter and Kaiser’s spokesperson for Autism Awareness Month.
- Deanna Spangler is a certified ASL Interpreter turned full-time homeschooling mom of 3 teenage daughters, two of which are on the Autism Spectrum. Deanna has fostered her daughter’s public speaking mission for several years now. After falling in love with ASL in grammar school, Deanna attended Western Oregon University and began working as a certified interpreter. Interpreting was her first passion and now she is able to fuse her love of interpreting with her daughter’s love of disability awareness.
