Are you interested in Video Relay Service (VRS) but lack of access or transparency has you hesitant? Are you waning to learn more about all things related to one of the largest settings of the interpreting profession? Join us for this detailed workshop that will give you the ins and outs of VRS. We will dive into the rules, the regulations, and the realities of working in this fast paced, exciting environment. This workshop will provide some hands up work in breakout rooms with colleagues. Come prepared to work both your hard and soft skills.
Presenter Bio:
Tiffany Lloyd is a graduate of Kent State University with a bachelors degree in both American Sign Language and Theatre. She later attended and graduated from Tyler Junior College with a degree in Sign Language Interpreting. She currently lives and works in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and has an Advanced Certification from the Board of Evaluation of Interpreters.
